Extreme Exhibit

NASA astrobiologist Jonathan Trent, researcher for the Extremophiles: Living in Extremes traveling exhibit, answers questions during a March 2 media tour at Wonders of Wildlife. Extremophiles are organisms that live in extreme environments. The exhibit used Trent’s research, along with contributions from NASA. As part of his work for NASA, Trent worked as an open-ocean scuba diver, exploring deep ocean environments.
