Express Scripts to reduce drugs excluded from coverage

Express Scripts yesterday announced it would had a handful of medicines in 2017 to its list of drugs that are excluded from insurance coverage. However, it also will remove several other medicines from the list.

In 2017, the exclusion list will comprise 85 drugs, compared with 87 this year.

The company said it would save customers an estimated $1.8 billion in 2017, up from $1.3 billion in 2016.
