Explosive device found in George Soros' mailbox

An explosive device was discovered Monday in a mailbox at a New York home of billionaire philanthropist George Soros.

Soros, according to The New York Times, is a favorite target of right-wing groups for his leanings toward Democratic causes.

Soros was not home at the time the device was found in a New York City suburb. The device did not explode on its own, and bomb squad technicians “proactively detonated” it, a law enforcement official said.
