Expedia to move headquarters

Expedia Inc. is moving its corporate headquarters from Bellevue, Wash., to Seattle.

The online travel company - which operates a call center in Springfield - plans to close on the purchase of a 40-acre waterfront campus in the second quarter, according to The Associated Press.

The company employs 3,000 at its headquarters. It has over 10,000 employees worldwide.
