Five of the seven executives listed in O'Reilly Automotive Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ORLY) annual proxy filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission had decreases in total compensation last year.
The proxy statement, filed March 31, points to combined total compensation in 2024 of $10.7 million. That's down from roughly $17 million in 2023.
The decreases are largely attributable to decreases in the executives' nonequity incentive plan compensation. Additionally, former CEO Greg Johnson was succeeded in 2024 by Brad Beckham, meaning the data reflects partial compensation for Johnson compared with the prior year.
O'Reilly Automotive's top executives, by 2024 total compensation reported in the proxy filing, are as follows:
• Brad Beckham, CEO, $2.8 million, down 1.7%
• Brent Kirby, president, $2.3 million, down 20.2%
• Jeremy Fletcher, executive vice president and chief financial officer, $1.6 million, down 10.1%
• Greg Henslee, board executive chair, $1.3 million, up 3%
• Scott Ross, executive vice president and chief information officer, $1.14 million, down 25.7%
• David O'Reilly, board executive vice chair, $1.11 million, up 2.7%
• Greg Johnson, former CEO, $416,092, down 92.6%
During 2024, O'Reilly Automotive recorded net income of $2.39 billion, an increase from $2.35 billion in 2023. Revenue during the year climbed to $16.7 billion from $15.8 billion in 2023.
ORLY stock was trading at $1,360.29 as of 10:59 a.m., compared with a 52-week range of $947.49 to $1,458.37 per share.
