Former Twitter employee Ahmad Abouammo was convicted Tuesday on six charges related to allegations that he spied on users for Saudi Arabia.
Abouammo, 44, was accused of supplying the personal information of dissidents to Saudi officials in exchange for payouts.
He had worked for Twitter managing media partnerships in the Middle East and North Africa.
