The former secretary and treasurer of the Plattsburg Special Road District was indicted by a federal grand jury this week.
Ava Langner, 58, of Lathrop, was charged with diverting money from an agency that receives federal funding.
Langner allegedly used the funds to make unauthorized payments to her personal business, pay her personal credit card and incur other expenses.
