A judge on Thursday ruled ex-Missouri State University instructor Edward Gutting is unfit to stand trial over the alleged murder of a professor at the college.
Gutting was committed to the Missouri Department of Mental Health's custody.
Gutting is charged with the August 2016 killing of retired MSU professor Marc Cooper. Gutting was an instructor of modern and classical languages.
