Former Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores filed a proposed class-action lawsuit against the NFL and three of its teams, USA Today reports.
The suit comes after the New York Giants selected Brian Daboll over him as head coach. Flores was fired by the Dolphins despite a winning season.
The lawsuit alleges Flores' interview with the Giants only was designed to satisfy the Rooney Rule, which requires teams to interview at least two external minority candidates for head coach jobs.
