Walton Construction Company Inc. is the general contractor for Evangel University's new Fine Arts Center, which is scheduled for completion in June.
The two-story, 65,000-square-foot structure is being built at an estimated construction cost of $7.2 million.
The architect for the project is Sapp Design Associates PC. The center houses a recital hall that seats 279 people and a performance theater with 262 seats.
The facility also includes space dedicated to instrumental and vocal music education, as well as laboratories for painting, ceramics, graphic design, photography and woodworking.
