Evangel names new VP

Posted online

Evangel University named a vice president for a role recently vacated by a staff retirement.

Mark Entzminger is scheduled to start July 3 as vice president for student development, according to a news release. The position previously was held by Greg Johns, who retired in May.

Entzminger is joining Evangel from the Springfield national office of the Assemblies of God, where he's worked since 2017 as ministries and resources administrator. He's worked for the national AG office since 2011.

“What most excites me about this opportunity is the ability to invest in future leaders and shape the spiritual climate of every student’s experience at Evangel University,” Entzminger said in the release. “The student life experience is vital to attracting new students to campus and helping them realize God’s calling on their lives.”
