Donadio will be on staff to offer spiritual counsel and encourage personal Christian disciplines to graduate and adult students, according to a news release. At new-student orientations, he will explain Evangel’s biblical foundation and lifestyle expectations.
“Part of the Evangel education experience has always been spiritual development,” said Director of Professional Studies Linda Wellborn in the release. “We recognized that adult students receive spiritual teaching via classrooms and faculty, but I really felt a void in that we had no campus pastor to minister to adult students.”
Donadio previously was U.S. Mission America Placement Service director for Springfield-based Assemblies of God and was a pastor in Alaska for 25 years.
