European Union President Ursula von der Leyen is calling for a ban on Russian oil.
The proposal calls on a crude oil embargo over six months, with exemptions for Hungary and Slovakia until 2023, according to Reuters.
"Putin must pay a price, a high price, for his brutal aggression," the EU leader said.
