EU's antitrust chief is taking aim at Amazon as regulators now charge the e-commerce giant with distorting competition in online retail. The European Commission has opened a second investigation into Amazon's business practices.
The commission has been investigating Amazon’s dual role - as a marketplace for merchants and also a rival seller - since July last year, triggered by complaints from traders about the company’s practices.
Amazon has disagreed with the EU charges.
