A record 31.5 million Americans plan to bet on this year’s Super Bowl, according to estimates from the American Gaming Association.
The national trade group forecasts more than $7.6 billion will be wagered on the championship game.
The amount of people planning to bet is up 35% from last year, while the estimated amount of money being bet is up 78%.
