Ernst & Young to split into two businesses

Ernst & Young, one of the world's largest auditing and consulting firms, is splitting into two businesses.

One would conduct auditing work, and the other business would focus on consulting and advisory work.

The proposed split must be approved by around 10,000 Ernst & Young partners in 140 countries.
