Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is taking his talents to Wall Street, joining boutique investment bank Moelis & Co. as a vice chairman and board member.
The move comes after Cantor was defeated in the June Virginia primaries by economics professor and previously unknown tea party challenger Dave Brat. Cantor then resigned from his position, rather than finish his term.
According to CNNMoney, Cantor will work out of New York and a new office opening in Washington, D.C.
