Equifax, FICO team up to sell consumer data

Equifax Inc. and Fair Isaac Corp., creator of the FICO credit score, are teaming up to sell customers' data to banks.

Both companies already sell data to banks, but now they'll sell each other's services and sometimes approach clients together.

Credit firms have been pivoting to address the need by banks for customer data. Banks use the data to help them make loans.
