The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing the repeal of rules designed to limit the power industry's impact on climate change.
One of the repeals would roll back a limit on greenhouse gas emissions from power plants fueled by coal and natural gas. Another repeal would target a rule meant to reduce emissions of mercury and other toxic pollutants.
The proposals are part of President Donald Trump’s pledge to "unleash American energy."
