The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has ordered Norfolk Southern to pay for the East Palestine, Ohio, train wreck and chemical release cleanup.
The EPA has used its authority under the federal Superfund law to order Norfolk Southern to clean up the area.
The Feb. 3 derailment caused roughly half of the 4,800 residents in the eastern Ohio town to evacuate amid air and water quality concerns.
