The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing a rollback on regulations related to greenhouse gases.
The proposal calls for the EPA to undo a rule that allows pollutants from developing and burning fossil fuels to be regulated under the Clean Air Act.
"With this proposal, the Trump EPA is proposing to end 16 years of uncertainty for automakers and American consumers," EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said.
