EPA head signs proposal to undo restrictions on coal plants

The Trump administration is moving to undo Obama-era restrictions on coal plants.

Andrew Wheeler, acting Environmental Protection Agency administrator, signed a proposal to do away with environmental restrictions on power plants.

The Obama administration rules aimed to reduce carbon emissions to 32 percent below 2005 levels by 2030.
