Enterprise Holdings acquires vanpooling company

Enterprise Holdings has acquired a Michigan-based vanpooling company.

Terms were undisclosed for the buyout of vRide from private equity firm TPG Growth.

Enterprise Holdings Vice President Ryan Johnson will be in charge of the vRide operations.

"We look forward to combining our complementary assets and further advancing vRide’s expertise, ride-sharing platform and brand recognition, all of which will benefit American commuters and consumers for the long term," Johnson said in a statement.
