The Greater Ozarks Leadership Development program, or GOLD, will be held monthly beginning in October. Class dates will be Oct. 13-14, Nov. 15, Dec. 13, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 13-14, April 18, May 23 and June 19.
The purpose of GOLD is to help civic leaders hone their skills in communication, media relations, collaboration, team building, coalition building, negotiations and strategic planning. The program’s cost is $600.
A second program, Greater Ozarks Leadership Education and Development, or GO LEAD, will meet on the second Wednesday of each month, September through November and January through May.
Curricula will focus on strategic planning, board development, finance, marketing, management principles, fund-raising and volunteer management. The cost to participate in GO LEAD is $125.
