The National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in which the groups agreed "to recognize each other's primary areas of focus in order to collaborate more effectively, maximize use of resources and avoid duplication of efforts."|ret||ret||tab|
According to an announcement from The National Society of Professional Engineers, the agreement recognizes NSPE's mission to advocate licensure, promote the ethical and competent practice of engineering and enhance the image and well-being of professional engineers. It charges NSPE with taking the lead in these areas as well as providing legislative advocacy, and developing and producing products and services for professional engineers.|ret||ret||tab|
