Warren & Goodin Architects/Engineers PC is engineer and architect for the new Knights of Columbus Bingo Hall at 2340 W. Grand. Friga Construction Co. Inc. is general contractor for the 15,300-square-foot structure, which is scheduled for completion in March. The project is a pre-engineered steel-frame and masonry structure, slab-on-grade. Comfort heating and cooling is supplemented with energy-recovery ventilation for smoke abatement. The bingo hall will have a smoking area that will accommodate up to 350 people and a nonsmoking area that will accommodate 250 people. Also included is a full-service kitchen, offices, storage and restrooms. There will be immediate parking for 215 vehicles and room for 84 additional vehicles on an adjacent lot.
