Engineering: Butler, Rosenbury and Partners

Butler Rosenbury is structural engineer and architect for John Q. Hammons' St. Charles Embassy Suites, which is located near historic downtown St. Charles, adjacent to a convention center developed by the city of St. Charles. Malone, Finkle, Eckhardt & Collins is mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for the 280,100-square-foot, 12-story hotel that will have 300 suites. The estimated completion date for the project, which is worth between $30 million and $35 million, is March 2005. KCC Construction is general contractor. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool and spa, a fitness room, restaurant, atrium bar and a large water feature beginning at the second-floor lobby entrance and cascading down to the first floor along the grand stairs.
