Engineer: Pellham Phillips Architects and Engineers Inc.

Pellham Phillips is providing engineering and architecture services for John Q. Hammons’ Chateau on the Lake of the Ozarks. Wells & Scaletty LLC is the structural engineer for the 420,000-square-foot project, with Pellham Phillips handling all other engineering. Barbara Elliott is the interior designer; a general contractor has not yet been selected for the roughly $80 million project. The Chateau, a luxury hotel and conference center, will be located east of the Grand Glaze Bridge in Osage Beach. The facility will have 332 rooms, conference and banquet space, luxury spa, theater, fine dining, library lounge, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center and children’s play area. Also included are a parking garage and marina access. Completion is slated for spring 2010.
