Green Engineering LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for a two-story structure for Elks Lodge 501, replacing the facility lost in the May 22 tornado. Corner-Greer Architects (Joplin) is the architect for the project, which has an estimated cost of $2.2 million and is financed by SMB Bank. Tappana Ondrick Structural Engineers (Webb City) is the structural engineer, and Allgeier Martin and Associates Inc. (Joplin) is the civil engineer. R.E. Smith Construction is the general contractor for the lodge, which will have a kitchen, dining room, lodge area, event hall, children’s room, office, bar and lounge, and game room. Completion is slated for October.
