GeoEngineers is the geophysical engineer for a surface geophysical investigation for the Missouri Carbon Sequestriation Project at City Utilities’ Southwest Power Station. The roughly $156,000 project is funded through the Department of Energy, and comprises a 3-D seismic reflection survey to explore the geologic structure and stratigraphy of CU’s power station prior to drilling and completion of exploratory monitoring and carbon dioxide injection wells. Survey data will be used to locate future wells. Completion is slated for March 1.
