Engineer: CJW Transportation Consultants

CJW Transportation Consultants LLC is the engineer for public and private site improvements for Hy-Vee’s 11.2-acre commercial use development, which will be home to an 84,000-square-foot store. Site improvements include an intersection signal and geometric modifications at Kansas Avenue and Battlefield Road, the addition of an auxiliary lane to Kansas Expressway and a city of Springfield roadway from Kansas Expressway to Kansas Avenue. CJW’s responsibilities include a topographic survey, storm-water conveyance design, civil site work and preparation of easement and right-of-way deeds. This work comprises about $1.5 million of the roughly $17 million total project cost. Completion is slated for summer 2011.[[In-content Ad]]
