Engineer: Archer Engineers

Archer Engineers is the engineer for waste-water treatment plant improvements for the city of Ozark. Branco Enterprises is the general contractor for the $3.3 million project, an advanced tertiary treatment plant that can accommodate 3.2 million gallons of waste water a day. The plant will discharge water that has phosphorus levels of less than 0.5 milligrams per liter and ammonia levels of 1.6 milligrams per liter into the Finley River. Included in the project are covered headworks, influent selector basins, two secondary clarifiers, an ultraviolet disinfection building, sludge feed and solids-handling basins, covered sludge storage basins and sludge-loading stations and an odor control facility. Completion is scheduled for October.
