Energizer to acquire car fragrance maker for $340M

St. Louis-based Energizer Holdings Inc. plans to acquire car fragrance maker HandStands Holding Corp. for $340 million.
 
Last year, HandsStands’ net sales totaled $128 million. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company is the manufacturer of Refresh Your Car and California scents products.
 
The deal with Coral Gables, Fla.-based private equity firm Trivest Partners is expected to close in the fourth quarter this year, according to Fortune.
