Emirates saves Airbus A380 with $16B deal

The Middle East's largest airline, Emirates, threw a lifeline to Airbus' A380 aircraft.

The company agreed to buy 20 of the aircraft with the option to purchase 16 more in a deal valued at $16 billion.

Airbus officials recently announced they would stop production of the A380 jumbo jet unless it reached a new deal with Emirates.
