St. Louis-based Emerson Electric Co. completed its $810 million purchase of Providence, Rhode Island-based Textron.
The deal means Textron’s Tools & Test will be combined with Emerson’s Ridge Tool Co.
Rockford, Illinois-based Tools & Test makes electrical and utility tools, among other products.
