Sarah Bloom Raskin withdrew her name from consideration for a spot on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
She came under fire from Senate Republicans for her views on climate change and financial regulation. Additionally, Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, said Monday he would oppose her nomination.
President Joe Biden nominated Raskin as the Fed’s vice chair for supervision.
