Less than three weeks after tweeting about plans to take his company private, Elon Musk on Friday said Tesla will stay a public company.
"Given the feedback I’ve received, it’s apparent that most of Tesla’s existing shareholders believe we are better off as a public company," Musk wrote in a blog post.
Musk's earlier tweet was met with lawsuits and an investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
