Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the electric vehicle maker would move its headquarters to Texas.
"There's a limit to how big you can scale it in the Bay Area. In Austin, our factory is like 5 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown," he said.
Musk previously threatened the move away from California but did not make it official until now.
