Tesla CEO Elon Musk bought a 9.2% stake in Twitter, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
He now owns nearly 73.5 million shares of the company, making him the largest shareholder.
The stock purchase comes a week after Musk criticized the social media company for a lack of commitment to free speech.
