The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit against Eli Lilly and Co. for alleged age discrimination.
The company is accused of illegally refusing to hire older workers for sales representative jobs because of their age, Reuters reports.
Officials with Lilly denied the accusations and said the company is "committed to fostering and promoting a culture of diversity and respect."
