Billings
• a $3.5 million bond issue for the R-IV School District to add classroom space and a technology room, expand cafeteria and library, renovate classrooms and science lab, and design offices and other site facilities to improve security
Clever
• a $3.5 million bond issue for the school district to build a new high school
• a proposal to increase the school tax levy ceiling 65 cents to $3.5446 per $100 of assessed valuation to fund district’s operating costs
• a proposal to maintain the city’s tax levy at 0.6218 cents
Fair Grove
• a $6.8 million bond issue for Fair Grove R-10 School District to build new classrooms and other school additions, repairing existing school facilities
• a 1/4-cent sales tax for local parks
• a proposal to increase the Fair Grove Fire Protection District board to five members
Greene County
• an 1/8-cent sales tax for the Emergency 911 program
Highlandville
• mayoral race with candidate Paul Weeks
Marion C. Early PCR-5 School District
• $2.85 million bond issue to build new classrooms, new cafeteria, renovate existing facilities
Marionville
• a $4.1 million bond issue for the R-9 School District to acquire, construct, equip and furnish new school facilities
Nixa
• municipal judges race
Ozark
• a $9.5 million bond issue for Christian County School District R-VI to construct classrooms at East Elementary School, acquire land, construct outdoor multipurpose facility, renovate existing facilities including an early childhood facility
• Fire Protection District board members
• a proposal for a 17-cent tax levy to support the Ozark Fire Protection District
• mayoral race with incumbent Donna McQuay against challenge Don Watts
Pleasant Hope
• the continuation of the Pleasant Hope PCR-6 School District operating tax levy ceiling of 3.1793 cents per $100 of assessed valuation through 2026
Republic
• a $19 million bond issue for the R-III School District to build a new high school
• an increase of the school district’s tax levy ceiling of 10 cents to $3.24 per $100 assessed valuation in 2007, to $3.34 in 2008 and to $3.44 in 2009, to fund the district’s operating costs
• approval of the city’s home rule charter
Sparta
• proposal to levy an additional tax of no more than 25 cents per $100 assessed valuation to support the Sparta Fire Protection District
• mayoral race with candidate Andrew Jenkins
Springfield
• mayoral race, with incumbent Tom Carlson running unopposed
Strafford
