Einstein Bros. Bagels

Build LLC is the general contractor for a 3,200-square foot project that will house Springfield’s second Einstein Bros. Bagels franchise. White Shirts LLC, led by Andy’s Frozen Custard President Andy Kuntz, is the owner and developer of two 3,200-square-foot structures adjacent to Andy’s Frozen Custard on South Campbell Avenue. Einstein Bros. Bagels franchisee RT Development LLC, owned by Rita Baron of Baron Design & Associates LLC and Terry Reynolds of C. Arch Bay Co., will lease one building, and the other is expected to house two fast-casual restaurants. Site work is nearing completion, exterior work is ongoing and interior work has begun, said Build LLC President Ron Barrett, noting that completion is slated for Sept. 15. Great Southern Bank is the lender for the project, which has an estimated construction cost of $580,000. Kansas City-based Hufft Projects is the architect, and the engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; Meridian Structural Works, structural; and Calvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
