The CEO of financial services firm Edward Jones is the highest-paid executive in the St. Louis market – and four of his colleagues round out the top five.
At $11.2 million in 2016 compensation, Edward Jones CEO James Weddle is followed closely by the firm's CFO, Kevin Bastien, who made $10.04 million, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings, researched by St. Louis Business Journal.
The top 100 salaries identified by the business journal amounted to $223.2 million, but the sum represented 10 percent less than the highest-paid executives list in 2015.
