Hiles has been interim director for 10 months. The previous director, Todd Parnell, left the role when he was hired as Drury University president.
The center is housed at Drury and educates, trains and funds entrepreneurs at all stages, according to a news release.
Under Hiles’ interim leadership, the center hosted conferences and seminars, offered certificate programs and helped launch the Springfield Angel Network.
“As interim director, Dawn has led a healthy and vibrant Edward Jones Center that helps area entrepreneurs be successful,” Parnell said in the release. “The center couldn’t have a better leader.”
