Educators' technology conference set for March 4–5

Area educators and administrators will be able to learn about technological advances March 4–5 at the 19th annual Southwest Education and Technology Conference/Tech Expo at Missouri State University. According to a news release, the event is sponsored by the Regional Consortium for Education and Technology-Southwest. Highlights will include 20 preconference workshops, state-of-the-art and student technology exhibits and more than 40 breakout sessions about using technology in education.

The Regional Consortium for Education and Technology in Southwest Missouri is a group of public schools, colleges and universities in Greene County and the surrounding area.

The organization works to assist area educators with using technology to its full advantage in classroom instruction, according to www.rcet.net.
