Character Ed’s word for January is attitude. The Character Ed initiative, now in its fifth month, is a yearlong program through the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce to create a “culture of character.” According to the Chamber Web site, the program incorporates most aspects of the community, including business, schools, universities, civic organizations, government, the faith community and the media.
