Economic development is topic for KSMU radio show

At noon today, Missouri State University President Michael Nietzel will take the mike when he co-hosts the first broadcast of “Studio Live: Call-In” on KSMU.

Nietzel joins co-host Missy Shelton, senior governmental affairs producer. The two will lead conversations with campus and community leaders about economic development in the region.

Jim Baker, vice president for research and economic development at MSU, and Jim Anderson, president of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, will be featured.

The program is monthly and will feature community leaders speaking on a variety of issues of importance to the region.
