EBay Inc. announced it would pay a 14-cent dividend in March, its first ever.
The dividend is part of a larger capital-return plan, as the company added $4 billion to its buyback program. The authorization previously was $3.2 billion as of Dec. 31.
During the fourth quarter, eBay reported profits of $760 million, up from a loss of $2.6 billion a year earlier.
