Joplin-based defense and aerospace manufacturer EaglePicher Technologies has broken ground on an expansion in its hometown.
The nearly $21 million expansion is designed to create 100 jobs.
Missouri Department of Economic Development officials said the jobs would pay above average wages of around $50,000 annually in the county.
