E. coli infections linked to Costco chicken salad

Health investigators have linked an E. coli outbreak back to chicken salad sold at Costco.

In seven states, 19 people have been infected, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. None have died.

The outbreak is concentrated in the western U.S., with six cases reported in Montana; five in Utah; four in Colorado; and one case each in California, Missouri, Virginia and Washington state.
